Shirdi Sai Baba, was an Indian spiritual master who is regarded by his devotees as a saint, a fakir and an incarnation (avatar) of Lord Shiva. He is revered by both his Hindu and Muslim devotees during, as well as after his lifetime. He is attributed to be the creator, sustainer and destroyer of this universe by his devotees. Sai Baba opposed all persecution based on religion or caste. He was an opponent of religious orthodoxy Christian, Hindu and Muslim.
Shani as a planet appears in various Hindu astronomical texts in Sanskrit. The temple is believed to be a "jagrut devasthan". Villagers believe that god Shani punishes anyone attempting theft. The deity here is "Swayambhu"that is self emerged from earth in form of black, imposing stone.
The Ellora caves, locally known as ‘Verul Leni’ is located on the Aurangabad-Chalisgaon road at a distance of 30 km. Ellora is also world famous for the largest single monolithic excavation in the world, the great Kailasa (Cave 16). The visit to these caves is enjoyed maximum during monsoon, when every stream is filled with rainwater, and the entire environ is lush green.
